works as expected

I pre-ordered this for a Christmas gift and it was scheduled to arrive in Jan/25 and it arrived in early February. The thing I appreciated was they called to keep me updated and explain the cause of the delay which I think is very good customer service. The safe is exactly what I expected as we had purchased the smaller size of this safe. Highly recommend the safe and the service at Canadian Shield Safe Company.

Sleek design Sanctuary safe serves the purpose very well.

Not as heavy as I thought it would be but it does serve it's purpose.

Nice solid safe! Have 3 shot guns and 3 rifles in mine and heave room for a couple more. I installed a couple LED motion lights in mine because I found it a little dark inside. It came without the rifle rests but I contacted the support department and had them within 2 weeks. Thanks! Overall great safe for the size!

Delivery was timely and easy - great safe overall

Very high quality and fantastic service.

Arrived on time and was easy to setup. Was pleasantly surprised that there were two mounting holes drilled in back did not see that online.

I thought the outside of the safe door, and inside was dusty. Otherwise it seems to work okay, thanks.

Very impressed with their customer service. We had originally ordered a Canadian Shield Safe brand small safe but they had only one in stock which was slightly damaged. Rather than ship it to me, their sales rep. phoned me and offered the same safe from their Sanctuary brand which arrived in perfect condition.

The only downside I can see to all these safes with electronic keypads is that the entire electronic circuitry and battery are housed in a plastic case mounted outside the safe itself, so are not protected against heat or flooding. If it gets caught in a fire you’d have to somehow remove the melted and burned plastic case and battery, if possible, and use the lock-out key that they provide. Do-able, but far from ideal.
