Excellent little safe for home documents

Very impressed with their customer service. We had originally ordered a Canadian Shield Safe brand small safe but they had only one in stock which was slightly damaged. Rather than ship it to me, their sales rep. phoned me and offered the same safe from their Sanctuary brand which arrived in perfect condition.

The only downside I can see to all these safes with electronic keypads is that the entire electronic circuitry and battery are housed in a plastic case mounted outside the safe itself, so are not protected against heat or flooding. If it gets caught in a fire you’d have to somehow remove the melted and burned plastic case and battery, if possible, and use the lock-out key that they provide. Do-able, but far from ideal.
